Join a guided fjord safari along the wild and dramatic coastline on the west side of the Nordkyn peninsula. Experience Nordkyn / Cape Nordkyn / Kinnarodden and stunning fjords on the trip! The trip starts by the floating dock at Nordic Safari, Adventure Camp Mehamn.
We put on comfortable waterproof driving suits, driving boots, gloves Helmet With visir and a life jacket, and then we have a small safety and driving instruction from our guide. We have radio communication with the guide so he can give you instructions, tell stories from historical places, and tell you about nature phenomes as we go. On our way we will drive through all fjords, bays and watch idyllic lagoons along the dramatic coastline. We will visit Cape Nordkyn, Europe’s northernmost mainland point. We visit the abandoned fishing village Skjøtningberg. In Kjøllefjord we take a stop for a snack and enjoying the sight of the beautiful fishing village. Cruising out the Kjøllefjorden to see the Finnchurch, one of the Norwegian coast’s most characteristic rock formations! Then we cruise into Laksefjorden along the west coast of Nordkyn Peninsula to the fishing village Dyfjord, and from there we enter Kifjorden and out along the coast and the historic places Vika, Nordmannseth and Eaglepeak, before we turn into the narrow Eidsfjorden and moore the Jet skis in the floating dock at Hopseidet. Short transfer of 30 minutes with minivan back to Adventure Camp Mehamn Thank you for an unforgetable Adventure!
